Leadership meeting agenda template
Here is a proposed agenda for exec meetings:
- 5min: check in with team members; what are ups and downs in the team
- 10min: look at metrics and OKRs; with clear call outs (metrics consistently red, or big wins)
- 5min: look at actions from last week, to make sure we stay on track of any projects or tasks
- 30min: work session - ask for your team to submit their “discussion topics” whether it’s problems they can’t solve, or team issues, or look back on specific OKRs to see if we are making progress. To get the most of the discussion, make sure you only select 1-2 topics, and that they include some context.
- 10min: “FYIs”, these can cover a smaller update, or reminder, and doesn’t need to be discussed. Ask your team to add these in the notes before the meeting,

💡 Make sure your team writes these updates at least 2 days before the meeting, and make sure the doc owner (either your Chief of Staff or a team member on a rolling basis) 1) cuts down if the updates are too long, 2) makes sure the updates are in there and 3) that there are learnings and not just facts
